Sione, a San Carlos native, played football in high school for Saint Francis, and then at the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota, where he earned a degree in Business Administration. He has three brothers, one of whom played football on a Menlo School team coached by Gary Riekes; Sione found out about the Center through his brother. He has "been here since this place opened," working in Athletic Fitness.

"I think the Riekes Center is an environment where all people can succeed."
