Video Production Program Coordinator
Sagesse also known as Jessie, grew up in Olympia Washington, and is a graduate of the Evergreen State College where she studied Film, Video, and Audio production as well as Youth Empowerment Through the Arts, Community Organizing and Theater.
While at Evergreen she took full advantage of their inter-disciplinary education system by writing independent, group and internship contracts. In this way she crafted a unique experiential education that combined artist, facilitator, educator, and organizer into the same skill set.
Sagesse believes strongly in the power of youth to make a positive difference in the world. She is always inspired and blown away by the vitality and vision of the young people she works with. She recognizes media as a powerful tool available for expressing yourself, sharing your thoughts & ideas and making a difference. Her experience working with youth in the arts spans over ten years.
