Robin Bliss-Wagner
Robin grew up wandering the high desert foothills in New Mexico and bathing in the late summer thunderstorms that burst over the Sandia mountains. He was home schooled until he moved to California where he learned to swim up the San Juan rapids on the weekends while attending public schools and then Waldorf school for junior high and high school. He watched Great Blue Herons hunt and spent hours hiding in beaver ponds along the American River. He went to UC Santa Cruz for college and graduated with highest honors with a BA in Bioregional Studies. At UCSC he explored the redwood forests eating huckleberries and watching bobcats and golden eagles. He spends his summers helping friends and spending weeks alone in the Sierra Nevada and Coast Ranges. He has almost completed his studies for the Kamana Naturalist Training Program. He is a graduate of the intensive naturalist training program with the Institute of Nature Awareness (IONA). Recently he has instructed nature programs for Waldorf schools. Currently he is furthering his passions of tracking studies as a student of the Native Eyes tracker-trainer program. He is passionate about nature and his dream is to see people living in harmony with each other and the earth. Robin is a trained Wilderness First Responder.
