Creative Arts Director Aidan grew up on the beautiful Jersey shore and spent his childhood tracking, camping and exploring all across the United States. Growing up home-schooled, when he wasn't in the woods, or playing baseball, he sang Beatles songs and played any musical instrument he could get his hands on, beginning with the piano at the age of 5. Aidan began mentoring youth and adults in 1999 through nature programs and correspondence courses at Wilderness Awareness School and the Tracker School. He met Gary Riekes on frequent visits to the Bay Area and fell in love with the diversity of what the Riekes Center had to offer. Aidan has been working at the Riekes Center since 2002 and has had the privilege to work in all of the major departments at the Riekes Center. These days, you can find him teaching music lessons, jamming with a band class, or performing on stage at a concert or band night.
